The Teaching & Learning Center
Goal: $25 million
A New Hub for Curiosity, Collaboration, and Growth
A new teaching and learning center is the centerpiece of this Campaign, providing critical space for our current enrollment and program.
Our current spaces on campus adequately serve a student body of 315, while we have reached and sustained a desired enrollment of 385. Thoughtfully situated adjacent to the existing academic wing, the new building will serve as a physical and intellectual bridge between where our community has been and where it is headed.
Designed to activate both new and existing learning spaces, it will foster connection, collaboration, and flexibility across disciplines and grade levels. More than an addition, this building will deepen our already vibrant sense of community—creating places for students and faculty to gather, learn, and grow together for generations to come.
The new teaching and learning center will be the home of:
- 12–14 flexible classrooms designed for the way students learn today.
- Expanded Educational Resource Centers that will provide critical and sufficient space for students to develop strong academic and study skills.
- Dedicated faculty offices that support mentorship and collaboration.
To lead in the future of education, we have to build for it—even as it continues to evolve. With rapid changes in how students learn, flexibility is essential. This project creates dynamic, adaptable spaces designed to support new ideas, emerging technologies, and a wide range of teaching approaches.

A robust endowment is the financial foundation for Pingree to thrive, enabling the school to embrace the opportunities of today while meeting the challenges of tomorrow. Our strategic commitment to build Pingree’s endowment is vital for us to offset reliance on annual tuition revenue and afford increased financial flexibility. With this campaign, we have prioritized two Pingree pillars needing critical endowment support: financial assistance and our faculty.
Through contributions to the endowment, donors:
- Ensure Pingree’s place as a leader among independent schools and strengthen our ability to admit, enroll, and support students of increasing promise and achievement.
- Empower talented students to grow into purposeful leaders, ensuring their futures are fueled by their own ambitions rather than limited by their financial circumstances.
- Sustain an environment where the educators who shape the Pingree experience can thrive, innovate, and grow.
Over the last 50+ years at Pingree, we've created a foundation. We've created a foundation of community. We've created a foundation of the values that inform who we are and our sense of identity. And we've created foundational courses, academic structures, and requirements that students need for their learning.

The Pingree Fund
Goal: $5 million
Flexible Support for the Needs of Today
Elevating Pingree’s annual fundraising priorities is another essential priority for this Campaign. Flexible and immediate-use support of The Pingree Fund is a pillar of the school’s revenue helping to bridge the gap not covered by tuition and endowment income. This collective, community-driven effort provides critical resources needed to fulfill the school’s mission and to sustain our multifaceted program, each and every year. The Pingree Fund impacts every student, every faculty member, and every aspect of our program.
Through contributions to The Pingree Fund, donors:
- Help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of education, allowing our school to maintain small class sizes, attract and retain outstanding faculty, and offer a rich, dynamic curriculum.
- Sustain our commitment to access and educational equity through The Malcolm Coates Prep@Pingree Program, The Fellowship Program, and our financial assistance program.
- Fuel the programs that define the Pingree experience including the arts, athletics, experiential learning, global travel, and student wellness initiatives.
